The Role
Join our NLP team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and help us build cutting-edge NLP products in the medical field. Your NLP expertise will drive the teams modeling efforts using real-world large scale data from healthcare providers. You will work closely with medical experts as well as business partners to bring value to patients and practicing doctors alike.
Your Responsibilites

Develop, validate and deploy NLP models to support healthcare professionals and patients

Build and ship software efficiently in an agile and close-knit team

Collaborate in research projects with universities and healthcare providers
Your Profile
-
MSc or PhD in computer science or related field
-
+4 years of proven industry/academic experience in developing NLP models (e.g. RAG, NER, information extraction etc.)

Extensive experience in software development with Python

Resident in the EU and having a work permit
Nice to have

Professional or academic experience in the medical domain

Experience with cloud computing & machine learning pipelines (e.g. S3, dvc, WandB, CI/CD etc.)

The minimum salary for this position is according to the IT collective agreement (EUR 3,843 gross monthly salary for full-time employment). Willingness to overpay is given and depends on the respective qualification and experience. On top of that, we also let all our employees participate in our Virtual Stock Option Plans (VSOPs), ensuring that they can directly benefit from our collective success.
