Medical Translation Reviewer f/m/d

XUND is a leading digital health scale-up that enables healthcare companies to digitize patient interactions and translate data into actionable insights.

It's our vision to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare by bringing together medicine, technology, and a human-centered mindset. But we cannot do it alone: we need leaders, doers, and innovative minds to turn our vision into reality.

That is why we are looking for ambitious, highly committed, and entrepreneurial team players who share our values of putting patients first, building an inspiring and open environment, and challenging the status quo.

The Role

As we localize our products for new markets and update existing translations, we're looking for Freelance Medical Translation Reviewers to help ensure clarity, accuracy, and user-focused translations. After the initial project, we aim to establish long-term cooperation to ensure consistent, high-quality translation updates.

If you're passionate about healthtech, patient-friendly language, and making healthcare more accessible, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities

  • Review and validate translations of our products’ user-facing content, ensuring linguistic and contextual accuracy.
  • Ensure that all translated content adheres to XUND’s tone of voice and style guide.
  • Identify any issues with grammar, spelling, or terminology and make necessary corrections.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistency across the translations, particularly when it comes to medical terminology.
  • Working with the translation management system Lokalise (we will provide training on how to use it).

Your Profile

  • Native Dutch, French (FR), or Italian speaker.

  • Fluent in English with a strong grasp of medical terminology.
  • A background in a health-related field and familiarity with medical terms.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision to ensure all translations are accurate and user-friendly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
  • Students are welcome to apply! We value fresh perspectives and enthusiasm.
  • German language skills are a plus but not required.

Project Timeline

  • Project kick-off is planned for the end of February or beginning of March – review work to continue through to April.
  • We estimate at least 20 hours of work for this project.
  • Completely flexible working hours make it easy to fit around your other commitments.
