Since most people don’t have a clear conception of what Data Science actually is, we talked to Adrian about his definition of data, his day-to-day work and the challenges that come with it. 

As Founder Associate, Alexandra is responsible for overseeing investor relations and driving our Series A funding round. She plays a key role in building and maintaining relationships with investors, managing communications, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Alistair is one of our Senior Data Scientists focusing on digital health solutions and clinical decision support. With a decade of experience in both academia and research, Alistair creates AI-driven solutions that enhance the patient experience via tailored precision medicine.

As our Head of Medical, his main responsibility is to broaden the evidence-based medical knowledge of XUND to improve diagnostic accuracy and also to participate in relevant research.

Since the medical database is key to the performance and safety of our AI solution, we talked to Andras about how his team ensures the high quality of our products and how he expects AI to change the future of healthcare.

András joined our team as a Full Stack Developer in late 2021, working on our API and web front-ends.

As our Tech Lead, András (Draven) leverages his experience leading development teams of all sizes to foster growth and innovation. He is passionate about Agile, Continuous Delivery, and automated testing, with a mission to help others embrace and apply these principles in their work. András is dedicated to building strong teams and delivering impactful, high-quality software solutions.

Anett is performing day-to-day administrative tasks related to the management and operation of the office. She also supports employees in administrative matters by organizing, controlling and optimizing day-to-day workplace operations.

Antal has a passion for automating processes to solve people’s everyday problems. As our Backend Engineer, his responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing the internal API.

Áron is responsible for providing the medical database with up-to-date, evidence-based medical knowledge. He is committed to taking the doctor-patient relationship to a new level because it is important to him that all patients have access to the healthcare system.

As a DevOps Engineer, Attila is focusing on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our systems. He has a passion for innovation, problem-solving, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and a relentless drive to enhance our digital landscape.

Bálint joined our team because he liked our innovative view on healthcare and found that he could personally learn a lot from XUND. He is part of the medical team where he works together with our other Medical Experts on enhancing the evidence-based medical knowledge of our database.

As part of the medical team, Botond’s main task is to enhance the evidence-based medical knowledge of XUND. While doing so he makes sure it is understandable to patients so they can be more involved in their own health journey.

Christian is Partnership Manager and responsible for establishing and maintaining relations with our partners and implementing successful projects. There's just no such thing as impossible for him.

In his role as Digital Product Manager, Christoph is responsible for the pharma and hospital use cases. His background in quality management also ensures that our medical products meet the highest quality requirements.

DISCO stands for “DIsease Symptom Correlation Obtainment” and is the AI solution we developed together with the Vienna University of Technology (TU). It can currently analyze more than 2 million medical publications and automatically process more than 4.000 medical conditions.

Franziska has joined XUND as a Quality and Regulatory Affairs Specialist. She is passionate about a culture that prioritizes high-quality, compliant work by streamlining processes to facilitate regulatory compliance in an efficient and elegant manner.

As our Full Stack Developer, Gyorgy is passionate about writing clean and efficient code, practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD), and embracing an agile mindset. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his cats, listening to music, and – of course – coding.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, Hunor provides the data science team and their data-driven solutions with the engineering support structures they need to function fast and smoothly. He's interested in breaking the myths of artificial intelligence by working at the border of computer science and the humanities and believes that XUND occupies an important position at this intersection.

Ismail is a part-time member of the medical team at XUND. When he isn't reviewing our medical database, he works at a community clinic in the department of internal medicine. His work field also extends into working in the intensive care unit and the emergency room.

As a UI/UX designer, Kamilla’s passion is to create powerful visuals that highlight the user’s needs. While designing and improving features for our products, she pays particular attention to detail to guarantee an enjoyable user experience.

Our CTO Krisztián brings extensive experience in managing technology teams. His mission is to establish a robust technological foundation for our products, enabling us to deliver quickly in a regulated environment while bringing our innovative, AI-driven medical solutions to patients in a lean and efficient manner.

László is one of our Medical Experts at XUND. When he’s not hard at work on our medical database, he’s leveraging his product design experience to help the team bring together medicine, technology, and a human-centered mindset.

Lukas is a founding member of XUND and has therefore been with the company from the very beginning. He is leading the commercial activities as Chief Revenue Officer. When we think about tomorrow, he is already thinking about the day after tomorrow.

As privacy and security go hand in hand, Mark, our Head of Data Protection ensures that we follow good practices in both. His motto is that being secure shouldn’t be hard, so he regularly reflects on how he can make it easy for us to comply with applicable data protection rules.

Since data security and privacy are pivotal to our operations at XUND, we dove deeper into the topic and talked to Mark about his role and some exciting projects he is working on. 

As Head of Product, Mark is overseeing the development of our Health Check. He’s passionate about working with cross-functional teams to understand and address real-world problems and to create value for our customers.

Marlene supports the marketing & communications team in Vienna in their day-to-day activities. For her, being part of XUND means being able to contribute to something meaningful and innovative, which is extremely motivating.

With a background in DevOps and QA Test Automation, Márton brings extensive knowledge of infrastructure, environments, and testing practices. Recently, he has shifted his focus to backend-related challenges, applying his expertise to ensure smooth operations and reliability. He uses Neovim, by the way.

Márton joined our development team as a software engineer, where he contributes his expertise in backend and DevOps to help build and enhance our software. As someone with a never-ending thirst for knowledge, he firmly believes that we are crafting a digital Excalibur to achieve our vision of improving healthcare.

As our QA Engineer, Máté's main responsibilities include analyzing app and software requirements while writing test plans, strategies, and cases to detect issues, which he then reports and validates. His goal is to ensure that everything he works on is as close to perfection as possible.

With his vast experience in the German healthcare market, Patrick helps us establish the XUND brand and opens up new cooperations and networks in Germany. His heart beats for digital and innovative projects that have a real benefit.

Working in the medical team, Péter helps broadening the evidence-based medical knowledge of XUND. He's enthusiastic about finding out ways how XUND can contribute to the digital transformation of healthcare.

As IT security plays a crucial role for us, Péter is dedicated to implementing robust security measures to safeguard patient data while ensuring the highest level of privacy and compliance.

Péter views frontend development as a channel between users and software systems. This mindset, combined with a couple of decades of experience, is behind his every line of code.

Pia joined the QM team as Regulatory Affairs Manager to make sure that XUND’s products comply with the requirements of medical device standards and laws in our target markets. She enthusiastically aims to ensure patient safety and improve health literacy.

As Chief Operating Officer, Rafael leads XUND's product, quality & trust, strategy, and operations functions. He ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly and empowers teams to achieve our strategic objectives. As part of the leadership team, Rafael drives innovation and positions the company for growth, firmly believing that teamwork makes the dream work.

Sobitha is our Business Development Manager responsible for expanding XUND into the UK & Ireland market. She's passionate about enhancing healthcare systems that create a meaningful impact for patients, through digitalisation and data-driven insights. With her background in providing technology solutions, she's determined to showcase our innovation in the digital health space.

Sophie is our Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs and responsible for ensuring that our internal processes for the development of medical devices meet the highest quality standards. In order to make our technology accessible to a large number of people, she is also responsible for obtaining regulatory approval for international markets.

As an Internist, Szilvia is part of our medical team at XUND. She supports the team with her knowledge and experience in telemedicine and forensic medicine.

Tamás is one of the founders and CEO of XUND. He represents the company to the outside world and is responsible in day-to-day business for making the vision of the digital patient journey a reality. Before founding XUND, Tamás worked at McKinsey & Company for several years.

As Head of Communications, Tina is responsible for XUND's entire online presence. In addition to planning all advertising activities, she also handles press inquiries and internal communications.

Victoria is responsible for the analysis, planning, implementation, and monitoring of XUND’s medical content. Together with the medical team, she works on ensuring that the medical information provided by XUND is not only accurate but also understandable for everyone.

More than 25 years of experience in anesthesiology and intensive care distinguish our Co-Founder & Medical Affairs Director Zoltán. Together with the team, he is working on a digital patient journey that will enable anyone to receive personalized medical care.

Zsófia supports our medical team as a Clinical Psychologist by broadening the evidence-based psychological knowledge of XUND. She is fascinated by the possibilities digital health innovations can create for the prevention and early detection of mental health problems.
